Corrections and complaints

We would rather publish a correction than leave an error standing. This page explains how to report one, and lists every substantive change we have made after publication.

How to report an error

Write to info@slovaris.online. Please include the address of the page, the passage you believe is wrong, and a source if you have one. We acknowledge within five working days. Confirmed factual errors are corrected as soon as we can, noted in the article where the change is material, and logged below with a date.

Complaints about a product, a charge, a renewal or a refund cannot be handled by us: we are not the seller. Please contact the advertiser directly.

Correction log

22 September 2026 — site rewritten; several unsupported claims removed

The earlier version of this site consisted of a single promotional article. It was rewritten in full. The following changes were made for accuracy, and are recorded here rather than made silently:

  • “Reader Stories” framing removed. The site presented its article as a “reader-submitted story”. It was not one. No reader submitted anything, and the label was misleading. It has been removed and replaced with a named byline and a publication date.
  • “Join millions of users who trust TotalAV” removed. We had no source for a user count and could not verify one.
  • “A leading solution” and “a top-tier choice” removed. Unsupported superlatives presented as findings. We have not tested the product and publish no rankings.
  • “Lightweight … does not slow down your device” removed. A performance claim we had not measured. Readers are now pointed at the independent laboratories, which publish a performance score.
  • “Customer support is widely praised” removed. No source; an impression stated as a fact.
  • “More comprehensive than competitors” comparison removed. A comparative claim made without any comparison having been carried out.
  • “Goes far beyond simple virus scanning” and similar marketing framing replaced with an actual description of the four detection techniques used across the industry.
  • Feature list qualified. The earlier text implied that a VPN and a password manager are simply included. Tier contents differ, so the page now tells readers to check what their specific plan includes on the vendor’s own site, and states that the vendor’s information prevails over ours.
  • Trademark disclaimer added. The site previously gave no indication that it is unconnected to the brand it advertises.
  • Affiliate disclosure added at the top of every page, beneath every headline and on every button. The earlier version carried only a single line in the footer.
  • Tracking removed. Remote font loading, browser storage and referrer suppression were removed from the site’s code. The site now makes no third-party requests and stores nothing in your browser.
