1. Who these terms are with

slovaris.online is operated by Cape Coral Inc., s.r.o., Korunovační 704/14, Bubeneč, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic, company number 24191558, VAT number CZ24191558 (“we”, “us”). Full details are in the legal notice. By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What the site is

This site publishes editorial articles about consumer computer security. It is free to read, requires no account and collects nothing about you. It is not a shop. We sell nothing, bill nothing and supply no product or service to you. Any purchase you make is with a third party under that party’s own terms, and we are not a party to it.

3. No professional advice

Nothing on this site is professional, legal, financial or security advice, and nothing on it creates an advisory relationship. Content is general in nature and cannot account for your circumstances. Decisions about security products, and about your own systems, remain yours.

4. Accuracy and change

We prepare content as described in our editorial policy and correct errors under our corrections procedure. Software, prices, plan contents and terms change frequently and without notice to us. We therefore give no warranty that the content is complete, current or error-free, and where anything here differs from a vendor’s own published information, the vendor’s information prevails. We may change, move or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

5. Permitted use

You may read, print and share this site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, and quote from it with attribution and a link. You may not:

  • reproduce substantial parts of the site, or any of its diagrams, for a commercial purpose without our written permission;
  • present our content as your own, or remove attribution or copyright notices;
  • use automated means to place an unreasonable load on the site, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it;

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profit and loss arising from reliance on the content of this site or from any transaction with a third party reached through it. We may amend these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your visit is the one that applies, and the date at the top records when it last changed.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and the Czech courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory protection available to a consumer under the law of their country of residence.

We are not a seller, so consumer sales disputes will not normally arise with us. Should a consumer dispute nonetheless arise, the competent body for out-of-court settlement in the Czech Republic is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), coi.cz.
